Teaser | REFUGE
Apr 10, 2016

REFUGE is a feature-length documentary which tells the story of modern-day refugee resettlement. After years of limbo in Thailand, Nepal and Kenya, a new generation of refugees work to rebuild their lives and find a sense of belonging in a weary upstate New York town. As a devastating refugee crisis plays out on the global stage, Refuge intimately documents the stories of one small American community and opens doors to reveal the beating hearts of the resilient newcomers who now call it home.

The project is a living chronicle of resettlement in the United States, unveiling an ongoing yet under-reported narrative of the transformation and hardship that is defining and impacting resettlement communities across the country.
